How far in advance should I make my reservation?
We would like to welcome you all in our restaurant. However, due to the many requests, we suggest reserving as early as possible.
Are children allowed?
In Galera is a restaurant to all intents and purpose. We are open to guests of all ages.
Is there a kids menu?
Yes, but please ask for it in advance so that we may prepare dishes which are palatable to kids (tomato or plain pasta, hamburger, fried veal cutlet).
Are dogs allowed?
Animals are always welcome! However, should there be a guest who is allergic to animal fur we may ask you to please take the dog back to your car.
Is it possible to organise group lunches or dinners?
The more the merrier. If you are more than 9, we suggest choosing your menu in advance with our maître d’hôtel.
Is it possible to have a personalised menu at a fix price?
We have several fix price menu proposals. Please call us and choose your menu with our maître d’hôtel.
Do you prepare gluten free, vegetarian or vegan dishes?
Yes, gluten free but must be agreed well in advance, vegetarians will always find dishes they like on the menu. We don't have a menu for vegans; the kitchen, however, exceptionally reserves itself well in advance to create a menu for the few on the occasion.
Are there dishes for people with food allergies?
If you let us know ahead of time, we will do our best to please you!
Can one buy a gift voucher?
Yes, please call us and our maître d’hôtel will help you select a gift.
Where can we park?
Outside the jail is a large parking lot, conveniently located by the restaurant.
Are you equipped with handicap facilities?
In Galera caters to everyone! There is a bathroom designed to accommodate people with disabilities and a ramp to access the restaurant.
How do we get in the restaurant?
We do our best to make your life simple. You may reserve by phone or talk to the interns of the Paolo Frisi hotel school duringthe restaurant’s opening hours; they will welcome you at the check-point and accompany you to the restaurant (it is not necessary to leave your documents at the entrance or to deposit personal items).
